Zeolites are increasingly used as so-called co-stabilisers in combination with other chemical compounds (e.g. metal soaps and/or organotin compounds) as an alternative to heavy metal-containing products that are harmful to health and the environment to improve the ageing resistance of chlorine-containing polymers, especially PVC.
